The main objective of the project is to improve quality of responsiveness to labour market needs, increase participation and allow for a smooth transition into employment for 180 students from VET secondary schools (one from Łosice and one from Siedlce) from Mazovian voivodship. The objective will be reached by: organizing the internships in companies, provision of various trainings for students and teachers, improving didactic base of the both vocational schools and providing the counselling for students. The teachers will acquire the knowledge in the area of vocational teaching while students will gain the vocational skills to reinforce or upgrade pre-existing skills. Most of students come from small villages and they are threatened by poverty and social exclusion.
TYPE OF SERVICES PROVIDED:
- Equipping the practical vocational training workshops in both schools in needed tools dedicated to: the agricultural classes, inorganic chemistry classes and IT equipment;
- Providing specialized certified courses for students in favour of raising their key competences in the area of: vocational skills (a barista course, a barman course, a foreign exchange teller course, a combine harvester operator course, a fork lift truck operator course, a Google SketchUP designing course, a cost accounting course, a diet and nutrition counselling course, a cash register operator, a professional servers course, etc.) and soft skills;
- Providing postgraduate studies for teachers increasing their vocational knowledge in the area of: agricultural and ICT areas;
- Opening the Inter-school Career Centre for students to offer them individual and group professional career guidance and enable to take part in study trips, scientific tours;
Organizing the internships for 180 students in 8 companies in Mazovian voivodship.
