SIR has been awarded a new grant in Bosnia and Herzegovina!

SIR has been awarded with a 2-year contract: “Combating unemployment through partnership of local actors” in the framework of IPA grant scheme „Civil Society Facility 2014 and 2015 in Bosnia and Herzegovina” in the amount of 243 149,08 EUR.

The project activities will be carried out mainly in Kupres municipality in Canton 10 of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosnia and Herzegovina with the following specific objectives to be addressed:

  • to support networking in order to reduce an unemployment through enhancement of cooperation among key stakeholders at local level and implementation of active labour market measures
  • to combat unemployment through support of rural development and increase of competitiveness of local economy

Within the project activities we will establish partnership among local key stakeholders in order to improve local milk industry and make this industry more competitive, what should lead consequently to increase of employment and will encourage creation and development of small farms as family businesses.
